Dipping a different toothpick in each of the holes will help you identify the colors. Fill up the syringe with the desired ink. The process of inserting the syringe and addition of the ink in the cartridge is a slow and careful one. This will help prevent waste of the ink due to overflow. To prevent the ink from leaking, tape up the hole. After putting the cartridge in its original place, test the printer for quality check of the printout. The ones that leak need to be taken out of the printer immediately and replaced.
